Grinned ear to ear as I unboxed my first Mancheront Pacer. The packaging was immaculate and came with extra links and tool. The watch itself is unique albeit reminding me of a submariner but costs a fraction of the price. What really caught my eyes were the intricate design of the bezel and the case back. Overall a great watch at an even greater price point. Excited to see this brand grow and will definitely be adding future pieces into the collection. Side note, watch can be slightly heavy to some so having the option for leather/rubber straps could hopefully be an option moving forward.

I absolutely love my new Mancheront pacer Miyota 9132 automatic movement Sapphire crystal watch that's water resistant to 100m. The watch looks really good on and the quality exceeded my expectations in terms of elegance design, functional, durable case and bracelet, human touch, extra functionalities (e.g. pulsometer bezel, although I hardly use them. Power reserve hand is extremely useful. The watch arrived in good time, the presentation was awesome, came in a fantastic watch box really felt like I had purchased something special. Mancheront Pacer takes heavy inspiration from a cult classic that is the Rolex Sub but adds modern styling (power reserve metre and 24hr sub dial at 6 O'clock) and a unique feature that is the pulse metre (although gimmicky I really like the scribed text on the bezel that adds to its sporty action vibe). One of the most impressive things about the watch is the material and detailed finishings on the watch itself. The contrast between the brushed and polished sides of the watch and bracelet, and crisp edges really do catch the eyes. The steel casing plays with the light and creates shadows that give you new appreciation each time you wear it.

First impression, solid well built timepiece. Size is good for me, good lume, solid 'clicks' on pacer bezel, proper secured clasp, clean dial and power reserve indicator was a good to have feature. It's a little on the heavier side. Would prefer for the body to be a little bit slimmer. Some ergonomic on the wrist part would be nice too. Not entirely sure about the ventilation on the case back but good effort from designers. It says a lot about the team when such details are thought through as well. I appreciate a well built watch and this one definitely is. Feels great on my 7 inch wrist. Watch face is well designed and not too busy. The only issue for me is the bezel insert. I do not see the practicality of its use. If I have to actually measure my own heart beat with my fingers then read the bezel marker, then it’s impractical for any use. People needing pulse and heart rate readings most likely will get a Garmon or Fitbit for less, that takes those measurements easily. For me I love the watch but find the pulse measurement completely useless. So I’m replacing the bezel insert with a plain black or gray ceramic insert. It will look better too. Mancheront should drop this pulse feature and it would be a Great watch then. Or at least offer a plain bezel version.

I received my timepiece a few days back and I have to say I am amazed. The packaging was beautiful - a beautiful leather box with the watch presented in a cushion. All beautifully trimmed. Turn the cushion around and there was a couple more cushioned spaces to present other watches as well as adjustment tools and manuals etc. I was even impressed by the expensive feeling cardboard box the box came in, with beautifully embossed logo. And then the watch. This is incredibly well built especially for the price point. For a lot more money many mainstream manufacturers would struggle to reach this quality. The metals, fit and finish is exemplary and the design is wonderful and certainly stands out from others.

It was a long time coming, backing this around a year in advance on Kickstarter. I was extremely excited for it to arrive. Would it look as good as the pics? Would it be worth the cost? A resounding yes to both. The dial looks sensational, and with so many small bits and pieces going on, the finishing is brilliant, and manages to somehow look clean, which it has no right to. The bezel has a satisfying feel and click to it. It serves its function of measuring heart rate very well, even if I and probably many won't use that much if at all, it's something different to the standard bezel.

Let me first state that I like watches but I’m not an enthusiast that knows every little thing about watches. I apologize if I use incorrect terms. I purchased the watch completely on aesthetics and the fact it was an automatic movement. I like the style, the color choices and fave layout. However the issues I had with the design were: - the band was very narrow. I think it needs a wider band. - the moveable ring sits too high off the watch housing. In addition to it sitting too high, the moveable ring is wider than the movement housing. I think with a few changes this style could work very nicely as a skeleton and a chronograph.
